We would meet every day of the week over Zoom for an hour long conversation. I would put new vocabulary in the chat box. You should have a word doc and online dictionary open on your computer. Of course, you can adapt the format to your comfortability. As we talk, you can record new words in the word doc and look for ones in the dictionary. We’ll riff off each other as we speak. After the lesson, I’ll send you the vocabulary in the chat box and you can paste them in the google doc. You should look up the definitions of the new vocabulary and learn those words. The next day we’ll have similar conversations and you’ll use your new words and learn more. In this way, you’ll be actively building your conversation skills and your vocabulary will be growing. After a month, you should already be seeing major results. There are only so many words we use and so many topics we can cover in basic conversation, so in just a matter of months, you will have acquired a strong foundation in basic conversation.
